Koi Fish Sleeve – Waves, Flowers, and Flow

This sleeve was designed to work seamlessly around an existing tattoo, building on the client’s original flowers at the bottom of the arm. To create a unified theme, I incorporated crashing waves and additional floral elements, blending everything together into a cohesive design.

The koi fish stands as the central figure, a symbol of perseverance and strength, while the surrounding waves bring movement and energy that flow naturally through the arm. I personally love using dynamic wave patterns, as they create rhythm and balance across the entire sleeve, making the piece feel alive from every angle.

By continuing the floral aesthetic that the client already had, the sleeve maintains a sense of continuity and harmony, transforming the original tattoo into a complete, fluid composition that feels intentional and whole.
